MODS
On this page I'm going to show you my handmade puzzles. I'm really into modding cubes and I also really enjoy speding my time in my shop. I use a dremel to make the rough shaped and than I fill the gaps with milliput, a two part epoxy clay. After that I use sandpaper to make the final shape.
I really like speding so much time on making great cubes. I always want to make perfect cubes so i spend a lot of time modding. When I'm finished and I see the end result i always get really exited to show it to other people. So here you can see my creatures.
Hand made 4x4x2. I made this cube using a shengshou 4x4. First I glued the top and bottom two layers together. After that I extended all the layers with 2 mm plastic sheet.
This is an awesome cube. I made it using a shengshou 4x4. Its also a really nice solve and a bit harder than a regular 4x4. Crazybadcuber inspired me with his 8x8 barrel.
This is a shapeways puzzle. It is actually a shapemod of a 3x3. This is my first shapeways puzzle. The puzzle was designed by: Lawrence Cuthbert (aka: Gus).
This is one of my best designs. I made this cube using a shengshou mirror cube. The cube looks like a rounded half truncated cube. I really like this cube because it has some really cool shaped when scrambled.
This is a 2x2x4 Crazy pill. I made this cube using a Rubik's 2x4x4. The cube was shaped into a pill shape. I painted the cube red and black. I really like that combination.
This was a really simple mod. I made this because I really hate the tips of the pyraminx. This is like an even simpler version of a pyraminx. I just glued the tips to the centers.
This is a of-center 4x4x3. I made it from a 3x4x5. I just cut of one of the 3x4 sides. Than I filled all the gaps with milliput.
This is a 3x3 I-cube. It is actually a 3x3x4 without the top layer. I glued the top two layers together and that i cut the top layer of. You can see that the top layer is a little bigger.
These are a 1x1x1, 1x1x2 and a 1x1x3. I made these with Lego. These cubes were actually my first mods.
This is one of my first mods. This was a really good cube for learning modding. I made some mistakes but it learned a lot of modding.
